Ann Arbor Observer

The Ann Arbor Observer, a local organization, sought the expertise of the Boxcar Team to enhance their website and improve user experience. This collaboration presented an exciting opportunity for the Boxcar Team, as many team members were personally familiar with the Observer. The primary goal of the project was to modernize the Observer’s website, focusing on elevating its design and optimizing content organization. Additionally, the team aimed to ensure the site maintained its strong community involvement and engagement. The Observer team expressed the desire to enhance their favorite features without compromising the editing functionality they were accustomed to. Furthermore, they aimed to seamlessly migrate years of archived content onto the new website while preserving the indexing of local news and articles.
