Following the recent completion of a 53,000 square foot addition, The University of Michigan Museum of Art had been eager to completely overhaul their website with a new, clean, and mobile-friendly site representative of their growth and their commitment to the arts in the community. We were ecstatic when they chose the Boxcar Studio team to take their website to this next level. After Lani rocked out the information architecture and design for the site, the Drupal team took over with the build. Beyond the typical sundries, we also build a 3D floor plan map, integrated their third-party collections management system, and ensured that the site met WCAG standards for accessibility.
