Once familiar with the success of the new website for the YMCA of Metropolitan Detroit, the Ann Arbor YMCA approached us for a redesign of their online presence. The result is an eye-catching, engaging design that reflects the wide range of activities available for the community. The new design hints at roots shared with the Detroit Y, but is instead built on the open-source Drupal content management system.

We worked with the national book retailer to launch their first-ever live webcast events - an in-store performance with indie-pop, singer/songwriter Ingrid Michaelson, and a fan discussion forum for Twilight Series New Moon with actors from the film. The pages hosted streaming live video and leveraged Facebook's Stream Box so fans could chat during the events.

Arbor Environmental Alliance is founded on the principles of good stewardship of the earth and her resources as well as the commitment to help others uphold these principles. We helped the start-up company conceive and launch a stunning new website and developed an effective search engine campaign.

Following an initial exploratory phase - including benchmarking, staff/visitor surveys and market research - this new design and rebranding was produced for MBGNA. University staff then implemented the website in-house from page templates and styling furnished by Boxcar Studio.

Nanda Home, Inc. - makers of the popular Clocky alarm clock - selected Boxcar Studio for the implementation of their redesigned website and online store. The resulting site utilizes PHP, Ajax and extensive JavaScript-based animation to deliver a refined, 'high-end' user experience.

We design and developed and a new web site for Michigan's own Sleeping Bear Press to serve as a companion to the Discover the World series of children's books. The new website established an online presence for the series by providing a professionally designed, interactive destination that highlights facts and information about the books via an author question and answer system, blog, mapping features and newsletter signup.

California's Department of Developmental Services' website provides an extensive library of articles and resources for people with developmental disabilities and those who care for them. However, their site was outdated, clunky, and difficult to navigate. We worked with Acumen, LLC to develop a completely new organization and visual design with special consideration and tools to those with mental and physical disabilities.

This new, Drupal-based website has provided Washtenaw Community College with an online companion to their nationally syndicated CareerFocus Magazine that features supplemental content such as career-related videos, news and informational resources. What's more, we developed a method for community colleges across the country to quickly and easily brand and customize the website to fit their own markets.

Based in Wixom, MI, ISD provides integrated material handling solutions for a myriad of markets both nationally and internationally. Their outdated site was difficult to update and didn't cast them in the best light against their competitors. We provided a clean, professional, competitive design, flexible enough to grow as new services are introduced. Best of all, they can update their own content and add new pages as the company grows with BoxCMS, our lightweight content management system.

Ridefix is an online community designed to help you diagnose problems with your car and connect with other car enthusiasts. We worked closely with the developer to help organize the wealth of information on the site and develop a flexible design which would be fed almost exclusively with dynamic content. Ridefix was able to complete and launch the website in-house from page templates and styling furnished by Boxcar Studio.

Workforce Software had the classic problem: a great product, but an outdated and uncompetitive website. We gave them a fresh, clean and professional look to appeal to their audience and reflect their service. We also implemented the Drupal content management system to allow them to update their own content and include interactive features like polls and news feeds.

The UPenn High School Bioethics Project website hosts a wealth of resources for high school students and teachers to assist in their understanding of ethics, scientific advances and methods. We gave them a design with its own identity, but still consistent with the UPenn brand. Further, with BoxCMS (our lightweight content management system), the bioethics staff can quickly and easily manage their content.
