Strategize

An effective online solution begins with a well thought-out plan, regardless of scope, audience, complexity or medium. Boxcar Studio employs a broad range of research tools and practices that are always custom-tailored to the project at hand.  In addition to needs analysis and client interviews we can also perform surveys, statistical analysis and market research as well as organize usability studies or focus groups to determine the most effective means for creating a successful roadmap.

Step 2 / 

Design

Our design phase encompasses much more than just the creative process.  In addition to producing visual design concepts that address the appearance of the site, we also assess brand consistency, technical requirements, information architecture, content structure, navigation and site layout.  Decisions that are made during this stage are integral to executing a project plan that reflects the individual needs and requirements of the site.  Such an approach eliminates last-minute "surprises," allowing the client to determine exactly what the finished product will look like - and how it will work.

Step 3 / 

Implement

Once strategy, design, planning and information architecture have been addressed, Boxcar Studio will translate these concepts and designs into the functional website with which your customers will interact. During the implementation phase we’ll build the user interface and generate visual materials, develop custom applications and create any necessary databases. Next we'll populate the site with content and prepare it for delivery to the end-user.  It is during this stage that planning and conceptualization come to fruition – a process that our clients can constantly monitor through a personal account on our website.

Step 4 / 

Deploy

After all deliverables have been created and project requirements have been met, Boxcar Studio performs testing for compatibility, consistency and overall usability to ensure that the end product is accessible to the broadest possible audience. We compile any necessary documentation, from user manuals and reference materials to support information and ongoing maintenance options. At this time we’ll also conduct any necessary training and meet with the client for a comprehensive project wrap-up and review. Finally, Boxcar Studio provides a complimentary maintenance period following the launch of the site to address any additional tweaks or updates that might be necessary after the site is made live.
